Pro Ecclesia Sancta, spiritual family and soldiers for Christ, was founded in Peru on June 29th, 1992, the Feast of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and 500 years after the first evangelization of America. Our objective is to promote the vocation to holiness and perfection, in order to contribute to the renewal, strengthening, and expansion of the Catholic Church so that Christ may reign, so that His heart may reign ad Maximam Trinitatis Gloriam – for the greatest glory of the Trinity.
Pro Ecclesia Sancta started in the United States in 2005 with our first community in Northern California and our hearts filled with great hope. In 2009 our second community was started in St Paul, Minnesota. It has been a time of hard work and many blessings. Families, youth and children have revitalized their faith by committing to a faithful and constant service to our beloved Church. The sacramental service; our work in parishes and in the Movement, such as retreats, seminars, ministries and communities, as well as other activities for adults and youth is always based on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This has been our contribution to our parishes, St. Peter’s Parish in Dixon, CA and St. Mark’s in St. Paul, MN.
